Quick workaround for using Yahoo Pipes in Google Feedburner

 
A quick workaround for those who still like to use the combination of Yahoo Pipes and Google Feedburner.

Before you use this, please check if you have a webserver available with is able to manage php-scripting.

If so, please do the following:

  • Download this ZIP-file and extract this on your computer (RSS file)
  • Open the php file with your notepad or textpad
  • Look into the code and change the url of the example Yahoo Pipes RSS-feed into the url of your Yahoo Pipes RSS-feed
  • Also change the information of the example feed into your own
  • Upload the file to your server
  • Then go to your Feedburner account
  • Go to the concerning Feedburner feed, and change the "Original Feed:" into the url of the php file on your server
  • That's it!
We placed an example php file here on our server; an example Feedburner feed is here available.

We also made a podcasting example. You can also use the file, it works about the same as the RSS example.
